About Mindful Bellydance
Mindful Bellydance was born out of my deep desire to help others connect more deeply with their own bodies in a loving, body positive way. Mindful Bellydance classes are a combination of fundamental bellydance techniques and active mediations based on mindfulness principles. By combining bellydance with a mindfulness practice this movement form becomes about your own personal connection between your mind and body and will increase your awareness of how movement and emotions can change your state of being. You will learn how to check in with your body and build new mental pathways as your cells and muscles come to life through the isolations of bellydance. This is an empowering movement practice that is uplifting, very healing and will transform you from the inside out.
